Concept:

Red Engine approached us to build a spinning, illuminated fan—or turbine—with a diameter of 1.5 meters, presenting several challenges. As the central feature of a new bar in Manchester, the turbine needed to operate continuously for several years. We designed a robust drive mechanism and integrated lighting control system housed entirely within the central cylinder, which we refer to as the nacelle. Additionally, we created custom LED tubes to achieve the client's desired aesthetic. All components were designed to be modular, ensuring ease of replacement if necessary.
